Britney completes US tour without any major hitch

Britney Spears wrapped up the North American leg of her “Circus” tour this past weekend, and the country breathed a collective sigh of relief. Though she still has a few dates to perform in Australia, it’s safe to say that Britney managed to pull off her tour. No meltdowns. No major drama. She did a good job, got mostly decent reviews, and has now made significant headway in her comeback.

The pop princess concluded the North American leg of her World Tour by playing two dates in Las Vegas over the weekend.

MEL B, MILEY CYRUS and BARRY MANILOW were spotted among thousands of fans who watched the singer in action at the Mandalay Theater.

The singer will now head Down Under for six dates in 18 days which will bring the curtain down on the whole Circus Tour.

Britney found time in between her Vegas gigs to splash out £2,000 in a candy store with her two boys JAYDEN JAMES and SEAN PRESTON.

A source told People: “She got a bunch of candy and shirts for her kids and got a bunch of the couture lollipops to give to her backup dancers.

£2,000 is about $3,100 of candy. I don’t care how many t-shirts and fancy lollipops Britney bought for her dancers, $3,100 at a candy store is still shocking. I’d really be curious to know how much she spent on her sons. Something tells me Brit’s never placed much of a priority on nutrition and healthy eating habits with her kids. What the Sun didn’t mention is that Britney’s maybe boyfriend/maybe ex (and definitely current manager) Jason Trawick was also at the candy store with her. They haven’t been seen together in a long time and he was spotted out and about with another woman in mid-August. Are Brit and Jason together, or was he just there in an agent capacity?

Britney ended her Vegas show on quite a high note – she gave Lance Bass a lap dance.

Britney Spears concluded the American leg of her wildly-successful Circus tour at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday by giving former ‘N Sync heartthrob Lance Bass a tawdry lap dance on stage.

During her rendition of Breathe on Me, Britney called the 30-year-old Bass out of the audience and gave the fresh-faced DWTS alum a sexy bump-n-grind.

I’m assuming Lance knew that was going to happen, or it could have been quite embarrassing. Britney does that in all of her concerts with an audience member, but presumably she asked Lance if he wanted to be a part of it. No videos have turned up on YouTube yet, but I sure hope they do. Lance and Britney have known each other forever – she used to open up for NSYNC back in the day. A lot of people in his position might have found themselves very uncomfortable. Presumably Britney gave him a $50 lollipop and sent him on his way.

Spears to Release Singles' Collection and a new Single

She has had a packed schedule that has kept her busy (and out of trouble) for almost a year and now Britney Spears is continuing the milk the success she has enjoyed since her public breakdown. Not only will Spears be releasing an album titled The Singles Collection, she will be putting out a new single called ‘3′.

Britney Spears and her crew continues to pump out the product for the pop songstress with a highly anticipated boxed set with 17 of her biggest hits. It has been since 2004 since Spears released a Greatest Hits album and so to hear this news should not be so surprising.

The Singles Collection will be available for purchase as a standard set and a packaged box set. The standard set will include 17 of her biggest hits. The ultimate fan box set will contain all 29 of Spears’ singles individually packaged in slip sleeves with their original artwork and B-sides or remixes. The box set will also include a DVD with all of Brit’s videos from past to present and a photo booklet with various photos spanning her career.

The new album will also include a brand spankin’ new track titled “3″ that was recorded with Max Martin, the man behind the successful “Baby, One More Time”.

A November 24th, 2009 release date is when you can expect the The Singles Collection album to be on store shelves. Sounds like a good Christmas gift for that Britney Spears fan on your list?

Children Custody Agreement extended

According to TMZ, Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has extended the custody agreement that gives Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline joint custody of their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The order, which was originally put in place to cover Spears' Circus tour, will last through the end of the year.

Under the terms of the deal, Britney — who at one point had lost custody of the children due to her chaotic personal life — was allowed to travel with the boys while on tour, provided she make arrangements for Federline's lodging if he chose to accompany them.

Unnamed sources told TMZ that the sealed order is highly detailed, but that it provides Spears with a minimum of 50/50 custody or more at times. In return, Federline gets $20,000 a month in child support, as well as $20,000-$25,000 additional a month when the boys travel outside of California. The judge will re-evaluate the custody arrangements at the end of the year, but the joint custody appears to be the plan going forward.

While Spears has been traversing the globe in support of her Circus album — which will travel to Australia in November — a noticeably heftier Federline has signed up to appear on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club." Reportedly joining him on the show will be singer Bobby Brown, Federline's ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson and former "Baywatch" star Nicole Eggert.

Britney Spears Fans Kicked Out for Provocative Dancing

Fans at Britney Spears’ Madison Square Garden show Tuesday were ejected by security for dancing too provocatively. Wait a minute there seems to be a double standard here. Meanwhile, Britney is onstage gyrating halfnaked and singing ‘Get Naked.’ That’s too funny.

One of those yanked by guards, Sandra Ion, a Dramatics hair salon manager, said: “I guess there had been a complaint from someone in our section that our dancing was too risque. Meanwhile, Britney is onstage gyrating half-naked and singing ‘Get Naked.’ It was totally ridiculous. They should have just moved whoever complained instead of all of us.” Ion says that guards forced her and her pals, including Amanda Lapore’s stylist Harliquin, to miss three songs, and Garden management refused to reimburse them. A rep for the Garden did not return a call for comment.

Britney Spears And Russell Brand to co-host MTV Music Awards again

Russell Brand is going to host another year of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. To celebrate this, he taped another promotion video with Britney Spears, much in the same vein as last year when the two of them did a commercial advertising the awards together.

Last year, they sat in a room together and Britney pretended not to know Russell’s last name. He knocked off her mistake by saying it would soon be her surname: Britney Brand.

This year, Britney is lounging at poolside in a white bikini and Brand is reading the paper in what looks like an condo. The two have thoughts about each other and can read each other’s thinking.

Britney Still in Love With Adnan Ghalib?

Britney Spears is still in love with Adnan Ghalib and so it seemed. Now if that doesn’t sound like something spun from Adnan’s PR camp, I don’t know what is. “Sources” are claiming Britney is still in love with the trouble maker and that her relationship with Jason Trawick is only a cover.

Jamie Spears has crafted this clever story to make it look like Britney and Jasonare an item, while really not. Britney would be withAdnan if she had her choice. From FOX News:

According to a very close insider, Spears is still madly in love with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, who she dated for a few months at the beginning of last year during her darkest days.

Our source also confirmed speculation that she’s dating her 37-year-old William Morris agent, Jason Trawick, although it seems her dad is the one most involved in the romance.

“Jamie is really, really pushing the relationship with Jason, he thinks he’s a really good influence on Britney,” added our source. “And the last thing he wants is Britney going back to Adnan. She would if she could.”

According to worldofbritney.com, which is nothing but a compilation of Spears' news and rumors, Britney Spears’ biographer Steve Dennis claims the singer is not romantically involved with her agent Jason Trawick.

Steve, who wrote ‘Britney: Inside The Dream,’ allegedly spoke to 37-year-old Jason’s colleagues at the William Morris Agency (after the Endeavor merger, will be know as WME2) in LA. “A person at William Morris who knows Jason told me, ‘Of course, it’s not true.’ And I think there is mild amusement that this ‘relationship’ story has grown legs, let alone been taken seriously.”

He said: “It’s not the first time he’s been linked with her. What’s surprising second time around is that everyone seems to have swallowed it hook, line and sinker.”
