If this is true, it’s hilarious and sad at the same time. The National Enquirer (we know, we know) says Britney Spears is fed up her father Jamie’s control over her – and we’re not talking about his mandatory bra policy.
Matthew Morrison Slams Britney Spears – Britney Spears was recently slammed by Glee’s Matthew Morrison.Britney’s manager lobbied for a Britney centric episode that would be similar to the recent Madonna centric Glee episode. However, Matthew Morrison is apparently not to fond of the idea based on recent reports that have been released. Morrison plays the show’s choir director Will Schuester. He was recently asked about the rumored Britney centric episode;
“That was a rumor her manager started,” he recently told US Weekly. “I hope our show doesn’t go along that route.” He made these comments while on the red carpet of the White House Correspondents Association Dinner.
The Glee cast has also recently appeared o the Oprah Winfrey show, which was reportedly one of the highest rated episodes in recent months. A vast majority of the cast was in the audience throughout the show, but a select few were allowed to take the stage and perform for the crowd. Another recent rumor has stated that Glee star Lea Michele has expressed interest in mentoring the contestants of “American Idol.”
Previously, several other well known stars including Adam Lambert and Harry Connick Jr. have been allowed to mentor contestants of the singing program.
“Lea loved appearing on the Ellen show, but she actually wants to be on Ellen’s OTHER show – American Idol – as a guest mentor. She said it’s only a matter of time.” said an inside source.
“She said that it would work easy because they’re on the same network and a movie or Broadway night would be perfect for her.”
