Britney Spears silenced rumours she had ended her rocky romance with boyfriend Jason Trawick as the couple were photographed together for the first time in weeks.

The singer and her agent beau, who have been dating for 18 months, arrived at Miami airport together on Friday.

But despite the chance for some quality time with Jason, Britney looked far from happy as she was spotted outside a recording studio yesterday.

Clearly in a bad mood for some reason, Britney scowled at photographers before trying to hide under an umbrella - even though there was no rain in sight.

Wearing sunglasses and a pink polo neck, Britney looked sad as she chatted to her bodyguard outside the studio.

Despite her sombre demeanour, Britney recently denied reports she was suffering from depression.

Britney's management posted a series of US tabloid articles about her alleged depressions on her official website, with the words 'bulls**t' stamped across them.

She said recently: 'I'm learning to take better care of myself and not get stressed or down about things for nothing.

'I'm taking my time these days and not letting myself get under any pressure other than to just feel happy about myself and to work on my music.

'I want to show people I am a strong woman. I have a lot of great things ahead of me that I want to accomplish. I feel positive and much happier, things are looking good again. I'm learning to relax and not place so much pressure on myself.'

Last month, the singer celebrated her 28th birthday with Jason and her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James hanging by the pool at LA's Mondrian Hotel.

While Britney's current lovelife appears to be back on track, her ex-husband Kevin Federline admitted they are managing to regain a friendship as they co-parent their two sons.

He said: 'I think as time goes on, it keeps getting better and better and better.

'I mean, I'm really happy the way that my life is going right now, I really am. I think, you know, I have come a long way. All of us have…my whole family. It's gotten so much better from where we were.'

Meanwhile, Britney has donated the silver Versace dress she wore the MTV Music Video Awards in 2008 for a charity auction to raise money for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

Britney Spears displays bizarre antics at LA hotel

BRITNEY Spears' strange behavior, like speaking only in the voice of a male cartoon character and loitering at a hotel down the street from her house rather than going home, continued to fuel speculation about her well-being, The Sun has reported.

Spears reportedly found it tough to readjust to life at home after spending most of last year on tour and began staying at the Mondrian Hotel a few days every couple of weeks with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The former Mickey Mouse Club member insisted on speaking in the voice of character Stewie from the cartoon Family Guy, complete with faux British accent, while staying at the trendy Los Angeles hotel. Sources there said she is a frequent visitor to the hotel despite living just down the road.

"She has no reason to be here," one source said.

"Last time she had staff running around after her kids, as they both caught the flu and she had no medicine for them.

People close to the star worry that her erratic behavior and failure to resume a normal life after being on tour are signs that another breakdown could be imminent.

The Commissioner, Reva Goetz, was expecting Brit Brit in court today, but was brutally rebuffed by Brit’s people, who urged her to stay away. Just as expected, there was an onslaught of reporters and snappers there awaiting her arrival.

Goetz said, “The court was supposed to meet with Ms. Spears this afternoon and there was a misunderstanding. I’m going to continue the matter until next Friday at 1:30 and she will be here.”

Goetz didn’t get the memo that shopping is more important than crazy ol’ court. Britney rewarded herself for missing a date with the paparazzi court by going on a shopping spree at a jewelry store and a Barnes & Noble. Either way, it’s good to see her happy…except when she’s wearing a blue wig and talking in a British accent.

The "Toxic" singer is said to be distraught after learning that Trawick had been flirting with two women at a bar, reports contactmusic.com.

"Jason left the bar with two bottles of water and a stunning blonde who looked like Britney. He had his arms around her and they looked very much like they were together for the night," said a source.

"When she heard he had been caught cosying up two girls in the bar, she got furious. Jason is really not like this and quickly tried to calm down Britney and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row. Everyone is assuming it is over for the time being," he added.

After the argument Britney called her mother who has flown in from Louisiana to comfort her.
